Renewable energy
Engineered for the application.
Coordinate EV charging with solar and other energy systems to improve infrastructure resilience and long-term energy performance.
In plain words
Solar and EV charging, working together.
If you already have rooftop solar, or are planning it, pairing it with EV charging can reduce what you draw from the grid during the day. It works best where vehicles charge while the sun is out: office parking, fleet top-ups at midday, and commercial sites.
We plan the electrical connection between solar, the grid and your chargers so they work safely together, with the right protection and metering. We can also plan the interface for a solar carport over parking bays, which gives shade and generation from the same structure.

Questions
Frequently asked.
Can EV chargers run fully on solar?
Rarely on their own. Solar only generates in the daytime and varies with the weather, so chargers stay connected to the grid. Solar reduces the energy you buy from the grid; it doesn’t replace the connection.
Do we need batteries?
Not necessarily. Batteries help if you want to store solar energy for evening charging or reduce peak demand, but they add cost. We look at your usage before suggesting them.
